PWDPhil is Back! And you will love us even more

PWDPhil is back online! It’s good to be back after a long absence. No we never left. We were just making things better for our PWD brothers and sisters. So what we done inĀ  the past few months?

Radio show – Yes actually have our radio show called “the PWDPhil Hour”in the new Radyo Pilipinas, formerly Radyo ng Bayan DZRB 738 KHz AM. Hosts Arpee Lazaro and Edsel Lorete were joined by so many people on the air and all kinds of things were discussed. Many people tuned in asking all kinds of questions.

There has been a huge improvement. We are now TWICE A WEEK over Radyo Pilipinas. Now that we have been given more airtime, we have decided to spruce up the website and get more bandwidth in anticipation of the increased readership and Internet traffic. Look at this website closely because we will soon change it into a magazine type of a website that will include all the things you want to know about the rights, benefits and laws about PWDs, including the issues that affect our community.

In the new website we will post all our radio show episodes for you to watch and listen at your leisure. Our new email is info@pwdphil.com

Our NGO – yes, we are in the final stages of completing our documents so we can soon become a legal entity able to accept donations in both cash and in kind. We will soon partner with various groups and government agencies to bring you more benefits, opportunities and information to empower you to help yourself, assert yourself and become a productive citizen.

A launch date – we have something cooking in the kitchen, a launch event! Finally an event where we can meet and talk and exchange ideas. We project this to happen sometime in late July or early August. No matter if it is hungry ghost month, we’re not Chinese, nor are we here to make money. We are not a business but an advocacy promoted by several volunteers and patrons who have big big hearts to help out with the community. We are in this together and we will go the distance with you.

I want to share my knowledge as a homebased worker for 6 years as an English Coach and QA Analyst. How can I be of help. I am also Licensed Teacher and a Mass Comm. graduate. Perhaps I can be a volunteer.
Thanks and MORE POWER TO ALL PWD!!!
