Yes, community friends, there are dining places that will not disappoint you whenever you flash the almighty PWD ID and one of those place is the SM Masinag food court. It is the SM located along Marcos Highway near Antipolo past Ayala Malls Feliz, if you are facing East.
SM is one of the malls in the Philippines that encourages employment of PWDs as they themselves have PWDs among their workforce. Last February 10, the SM Masinag Food Court invited bloggers for a food event participated in by some of their more prominent food stalls. I interviewed the owner of Tro-Pares, a food stall that served very very soft and delectable Pares, a beef stew dish best eaten with either egg noodles or garlic rice. Tro-Pares, along with the other food stalls, is compliant with the regulations of RA 10754, or the law expanding the benefits of persons with disabilities, by giving the 20% discount on all food items bought by the PWD for his/her own consumption.Just present your PWD ID.
My personal favorite is Rye & Dean’s. If you are a lover of corn dogs and hot dog sandwiches, this is the place for you. Their stall looks classy and the menu is plastered all over the place so you can easily see the specials and their prices. The next time you want to dine using your PWD ID, visit SM Masinag’s food court. They accept your IDs and give the discounts without any fuss.
