Not because you lost the use of your legs or your eyesight, hearing, or the ability to remember your past, does not mean you are not the same person. Our humanity is not in our fallibility, but in our ability to rise up after we fall. Some incidents in our lives are truly tragic that it may seem impossible to recover, not become the same person we once were, but there are many ways of hurdling these difficulties and eventually we will move on and become who we always were.

Work-from-home employees will soon be on equal footing with their onsite counterparts, thanks to the Telecommuting Act of 2017. In the Philippines where working from the home is still the stuff of tall tales, the passing of this law is a welcome change. For those who are unable to work onsite, this could be the best thing that has ever happened since the PWD ID.
The Land Transportation Office or LTO does give driver’s licenses to deaf drivers and to all other persons with disabilities who want and are able to drive motor vehicles. This was confirmed to us LTO licensing section’s Irene Mortel via a phone conversation at 3:30 PM, October 5, 2018.

Have you ever danced to Drake” “In My Feelings” for the Kiki Challenge? If you have, you might have just broken the law.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) issued an advisory for those who are planning to join the #kikichallenge, or those dancing to the tune of Drakes hit song “In My Feelings”. In their advisory, the DOTr reiterated that violators of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act will be charged with reckless driving, possible revocation of driver’s license and a fine of a minimum of P5,000 to a maximum of P15,000. The Anti-Distracted Driving Act prohibits the use of cellphones and smartphones while driving.
