Last December 10, PWDs (persons with disabilities) and senior citizens of Tiaong, Quezon trooped to CityMall in Tiaong, Quezon to listen to crooner, entertainer and fellow PWD Nonoy Zuniga in a show for the benefit of PWDPhil.com
Nonoy Zuniga first started his singing career as vocals for the Birth Control band back in the late 1970s. After going solo, he had hit after hit such as:

Invited for this performance were the PWD and senior community members based in Tiaong, Quezon. They were treated to songs that evoked memories of their youth with the PWD guests were given the VIP treatment by reserving the best seats in the house for them alone. In between song numbers, Doc Nonoy spoke to the audience and gave away copies of his latest album “Sigaw Ng Puso” to select fans who knew his songs well.
CityMall Tiaong was chosen to be the venue of the Nonoy Zuniga’s performance because CityMall is one of the most PWD-friendy malls in the country. A single sprawling property along the main highway in Tiaong, Quezon, CityMall has no second floors which makes it accessible to those on wheelchairs and other assistive devices. Hallways are wider than what is prescribed in the building code, plus there is free Wi-Fi! The staff are very helpful and are always on-hand whenever the PWD customer needs assistance. For any customer who may feel the need to use a wheelchair will not need to rent. Just ask any of the friendly staff of CityMall. Whether you ask a guard of manager, you are assured of getting the same courteous and efficient service that CityMall has been known for.
After the show, Dr. Nonoy Zuniga stood for pictures, selfies and even signed autographs, for some of the fans from the senior citizen community. It was an overall happy occasion the fans had a great time, as did Nonoy Zuniga.
