Have you ever danced to Drake” “In My Feelings” for the Kiki Challenge? If you have, you might have just broken the law.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) issued an advisory for those who are planning to join the #kikichallenge, or those dancing to the tune of Drakes hit song “In My Feelings”. In their advisory, the DOTr reiterated that violators of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act will be charged with reckless driving, possible revocation of driver’s license and a fine of a minimum of P5,000 to a maximum of P15,000. The Anti-Distracted Driving Act prohibits the use of cellphones and smartphones while driving.

Robotic Surgery for PWD patients

Many Pinoys with disabilities are already burdened with having to take so much maintenance medication that their livers and kidneys become weaker over time. If the need arises, later in life, for surgery or any invasive procedure, the PWD’s body will not heal as fast. Possibly, the PWD patient may not even benefit from the surgery as the healing process may be compromised.

Intersex People: Are they PWDs too?

Did you know that it is improper to call or refer to a human being with sex developmental disorders as a “hermaphrodite”?  The proper term is “intersex” or a person whose body does not fit in the regular medical category of being either male of female. They are “i” in LGBTI.  To refer or label them as hermaphrodite is offensive as this term is only used for lower animal and plant life forms.

A young girl takes a video of herself singing and later goes viral on Youtube and finds fame and opportunity knocking on her door. This is basically the story of the hit Pinoy musical “Rak of Aegis”.  Yes, it sounds like “Rock of Ages” simply because it was meant to be so. It started with a joke some years back, when the director was in a conversation with a song writer and he jested “if there is a Rock of Ages, then there should the Rak of Aegis.” And the rest, so they say, is history.
